Welcome to my weekly Pilates workout.
Every Wednesday I post a 10 minute Pilates workout video on you tube and IGTV which you can follow at home or in your office. Pilates is a great all over body workout that requires no equipment which makes it great for home exercise. Pilates workouts are built on seven key principles, alignment, breathing, concentration, stamina, flow, centering and relaxation.
In all of my Pilates classes I try and add elements of the Pilates principles so you leave the class feeling energised and happy. Exercise is all about helping to release endorphins which make us feel good so I believe exercise should always be fun and enjoy coming up with challenges to help you improve your focus, strength and flexibility.
Today’s class is a standing mobility class using the Pilates principles, this is suitable for all abilities and can be done from your office or home.

Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. My Pilates classes focus around the seven key principles of Pilates, Breathing, Alignment, Stamina, Relaxation, Centering, Concentration and Flow.
Pilates focuses on the mind-body connection which we find through using the breath. While doing the various exercises your mind needs to be constantly aware of your breathing and the way your body moves.
