Pre and Post Natal Fitness Classes
During my own pregnancy and since having my baby girl Pilates has been the backbone of my health and fitness. I stayed cycling until 37 weeks mainly down to the strength Pilates gave me and once Ffion arrived I was back on the Pilates mat after a few weeks and back on my bike at 5 weeks. I don’t believe I would have had the strength if it wasn’t for Pilates. This is why I feel so passionate about sharing Pilates with all those lovely mums and mums to be out there, to help you harness your inner mum power!
Pilates trains your body to be strong, flexible and balanced. Whether your goal is to become fitter, healthier or sports specific my Pilates classes aim to improve your posture, strength and flexibility using functional movements so you can get the most out of life and are safe for during and after pregnancy, based on the class you come to.
Pilates is a structured exercise program which ensures the recruitment of the right muscle groups to perform each movement, with core control and functional movement patterns at the heart of every class and video I create.
As well as in person Pilates classes I run on demand Pilates courses suitable for each trimester and in person buggy fitness sessions each week from Westbourne.
