Hi everyone as you may well know by now I am having my first baby, I am going to be taking a bit of a break from teaching to spend some quality time with the new member of the family.
Whilst I am away all hall Pilates classes in Fishbourne and Westbourne will sadly stop, they will however be back in around 6 to 9 months so do get in touch if you would like to join next year! I will also be offering a new pre and post natal class once I am back and a women’s wellness program so get in touch if you are interested in any of this.
Online will continue if you are an OnDemand client for general Pilates, back care Pilates or pre and post natal you wont even realise I am gone. Email me questions and if you need support and I will get back to you as quickly as I can!
If you are a member of my Live Pilates studio your classes will continue, there will be four a week the faces will just look a bit different! Below is a little blurb and a photo to show you who your new instructors will be for the next 6 months.
I am so grateful for all the support I have had during covid and now whilst I go off and start our new family. I will be back and can’t wait to continue with you on your Pilates journey.

Jackie (aka as my Mum)
Some of you will have already done a few classes with my Mum!
Hi it’s Hannah’s mum Jackie.
I have a BEd in Human Movement and taught PE for 33 being a head of department for 26 of these. Aside from Pilates my main sport and passion is golf where core strength is vital for a good swing.
I have practiced Pilates for my own physical and mental well being for the last 15 years. I was so convinced of the many benefits I decided I wanted to share this with others and took my qualification to become an instructor and have been teaching for 6 years in the community.
I now teach in halls as well as online and do land based sessions for our local swimming club.
Clare
Hi, I’m Clare and I’ve been a fitness instructor for just over 10 years. I teach a wide variety of of classes, including Zumba Gold, HIIT, Strong Nation, classes with kettlebells, resistance bands and dumbbells, Aerobics, stretch and Fitness Pilates. I teach classes predominantly online but also teach in the community and also teach private Pilates to people who have been referred to me via a physio, as I have also done a qualification in Pilates for people with orthopaedic conditions. As well as instructing fitness classes, I also teach languages in primary schools. I love fitness first and foremost and when I’m not teaching, I love going on long walks with my two dogs or going running.
My Fitness Pilates classes are a modern, functional twist on regular Pilates. We work on strengthening the weaker areas of the body and lengthening tighter areas and always work the body in all planes of motion. I always give different options, so that people can work to their own abilities. I usually theme my classes, for example we may use different pieces of equipment, such as a mini ball, pole, yoga block, spiky balls or resistance bands but I always suggest alternative items that you can find in the house-cushions, tennis balls, broomsticks, etc! Sometimes I may focus on a key area of the body and sometimes it will be a full body session. Sometimes it may be a flowing class and other times it may be an interval class. I like to mix it up to keep it interesting! I always finish my classes with a little relaxation to leave you feeling calmer. If you have any questions about the classes, feel free to let me know!
Hannah
I’m Hannah and I’m a Pilates teacher in training and a Yoga and Barre teacher based in Surrey. I started Pilates & Yoga 5 years ago in my mid twenties having not exercised since leaving school and immediately felt so much better – both mentally and physically. Wanting to spread these benefits, a couple of years later I trained as a yoga teacher, and then in 2021 a Pilates and barre teacher.
I aim for my classes to be challenging but fun and leaving you feeling better than when you arrived on your mat!
Bridget
After being inspired after attending a Masterclass led by Michael King, the founder of Pilates Institute I decided to study and qualified in 2003 with him, a decision I never regretted. As a former school teacher, I have been fortunate to teach Pilates both as a hobby and recently as my main job. I have continued my training with other Pilates organisation’s and again with MK Pilates on my return to UK. Pilates has become my passion. I love meeting people from all walks of life and seeing the benefits Pilates can bring to people. I look forward to meeting you.
