One Leg Circle is a Classical Pilates exercise, performed before rolling like a ball, it is a great hamstring stretch to warm up the hip joint and challenge pelvic stability. The core muscles must work hard to keep the entire upper body still despite the circular movement of the leg in the hip socket. Like most Pilates moves, this exercise combines stretching and strengthening for major muscle groups on both sides of the body, this helps to improve your balance and overall hip function.
